Overview of New Features
The current version of our software is EDEM 2.0, released on May 7th, 2008.
The EDEM 2.0 release includes the following new features:
- Faster solver with new multi-core parallel can compute on up to 8 CPU
- New compact file format provides a significant reduction in file size
- Massive increase in visualization speed
- Built-in video generation using any installed video codec (for example, Xvid or DivX)
- The first commercial DEM software able to simulate more than one million particles on a desktop computer!
